As our members create their own adventures during an unprecedented summer, ACC Manitoba will host a photo contest to allow our members to showcase their great adventures, and show the resilience of our outdoor community. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
The photo contest is open to all members of ACC MB, and will end at midnight (CDT) on September 30, 2020.
Participants may submit up to 5 photos, each along with a brief description (250 words or less) that describes the setting, when and where the photo was taken.
Photos must be in jpeg format, and at a resolution no less than 300 DPI, with a size no less than 1500 x 2100 pixels. Each picture file size must not exceed 20 MB. Any photo not meeting these requirements may be excluded from the contest.
Photos must not be protected by copyright by a third party.
Photos must have been taken in 2020.
Entries must be made by sending your name, photos and brief descriptions to email@example.com by September 30, 2020.
Email attachments are limited to 20MB per email. To submit multiple photos that exceed this size, send multiple emails.
JUDGING AND PRIZE AWARDING
ACC MB will select from all eligible photos, and award a prize of $50 in each of the following categories:
General Outdoor Adventure
Judging will be based on composition, originality and alignment with the above categories.
Winning photos will appear on the ACC social media outlets.
All decisions are final.
Winners will be notified by email by October 15, 2020.
By entering the contest:
the entrants warrant and represent that:
they are the sole and exclusive owner of the photo and its copyright,
they took the photo,
the photo does not infringe on any rights of any third parties.
the entrants acknowledge and agree that their photos and descriptions may be reproduced and published in part or in whole without notice or compensation by ACC MB on any media.
the contest winners, by accepting of prize, give permission to ACC MB to use their names, photos and descriptions without notice or compensation.
ACC MB reserves the right to exclude any submission deemed to be inappropriate or offensive.
